What all do we Teach?​

 

1. Guitar

The course will teach you how to master your instrument, understand music theory, and most importantly, how to use these tools to craft your own unique sound. Options of both acoustic and electric guitar are available. The students gets to learn  the various styles of playing the guitar from leads to rhythms, patterns and strumming styles, and even tapping in the advanced stage.

2. Voice Culture

This course focuses on shaping the voice, according to the style the student wish to learn, be it Western Pop, Indie Pop, Indian Classical or Wester Classical. A highly demanded field of study nowadays, Voice Culture not only helps in building the voice but also makes a singer aware of her/his vocal capabilities, and hence induces confidence in the student.

3. Hindustani Classical Singing

The course is for people who are especially attracted by the aesthetics of Hindustani Classical Music and aspire to learn the style and required techniques to be able to understand and deliver the complex singing of Indian Ragas. The lessons includes both practical and theoretical topics of Ragas, Shrutis, Moorchana and Riyaaz. Furthermore, it is also informative of the various meditative effects of the classical compositions and such.

4. Music Theory (Western Classical)

A very important course for those who want to understand Western Classical Music. In this course, the student learns how to read and write staff notation. The curriculum also includes analyzing pieces of legendary composers of the  Western world like Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Debussy and such. Usually a frightening field of study, we teach it in the simplest way possible, making it interesting and easy to understand.

5. Music Theory (Hindustani Classical)

 

This course is dedicated to learning the theoretical intricacies involved in Hindustani Classical music. Starting from Sa Re Ga Ma and understanding the various thaats (scales) it gives and in-depth understanding of the Raga system used in Indian Music. Furthermore, it also teaches the students about the concepts of Shruti (microtones) and Moorchana, which are age-old in their existence, yet ever fresh and new for the listeners.
